I opened one eye, and looked up at the speaker. It was one of the many mercenaries in our camp. This ones name was Conan. He had short, dusty blond hair. He was a bit short in stature, but made up for it in muscle. Youd best change back, dont want to frighten her just yet. I sighed, and concentrated on human form. His eyes were open, and the stared endlessly at the ceiling. "How was work?" Cooper questioned/ "Just dandy," Beth answered sarcastically. She dumped her coat over a chair, and sat down. Beth opened the door, and climbed the stairs to the room in her attic. She noted that her closet door was open. She closed it, revealing a boy. Beth emitted a scream that was quickly dulled when the boy put his hand over her mouth. He seemed to be seventeen or eighteen. Bet had seen him before. He hung around outside where she worked. His hair was pitch black and shoulderlength. His eyes were black, bottomless pits. His skin was unnaturually pale, as if he had never been out in the sun.

Being raised alongside Photoshop, my generation has adapted the skeptic instinct from day one. I would not have believed it myself had I not been there.
